I'm generally the person who curses having to find a painter. I poke around on Angie's List, call some people, they never call me back, and then I abandon the project. I found Kim Davidson Painting my first impression was positive -- I called her,she called me back. She came, checked out the project, gave us a reasonable estimate that evening via email, showed up a few days later to do the job (basically paint half of our place), quickly, neatly, and efficiently finished the job, and was nice and sweet. A few days later, our condo association hired her to do some outside painting, and again, her team showed up and finished the job neatly and efficiently.

Wow! Kim-Davidson-Painting-Handyman-and-Home-Improvement stands out from the rest even before they start painting. I called half a dozen painters on a Friday evening and asked them for estimates.
Kim 1) answered the phone right away 2) agreed to come over right away in the morning for the quote 3) gave us by far the best quote.
Throughout the painting process, they continued to be very easy to contact and work with.
Kim Davidson was very patient with us as we sorted through dozens of possible paint colors. She lent us her paint wheel (a collection of strips showing all the available colors from a paint company) so that we could look at the colors overnight, in different lightings, etc. She also went to pick up small samples of paint for us several times so that we could try them out on the wall in small areas.
And the actual painting: it was fabulous. Kim and her husband got through our entire apartment (hall, bathroom, living room, bedroom, kitchen, pantry, closet) in about 3 days. That includes fixing a ton of holes and cracks in the wall and ceiling, painting the ceiling, as well as walls and trim!!! She was very careful about moving our things out of the way, using dropcloth, etc. We're extremely pleased with the way everything came out. Kim made our walls and ceilings look like new!

We hired Kim-davidson-painting-and-home-improvement for a last-minute job, after purchasing our condo, we wanted some wallpaper removed, walls painted, some stains from water damage dealt with, and ceilings painted. When we decided we wanted it done, though, it was only 10 days until the moving truck was scheduled to arrive! Kim-davidson-painting-and-home-improvement adjusted her schedule to fit our needs, and the job was done with time to spare, at a very great low reasonable price (especially for the wallpapered bathroom, which looked like quite a bite of a job for such a small room!), and with excellent results. My husband and I were both very happy with the work they did, and would definitely recommend them. If we need any more painting done, we'll definitely be giving Kim-davidson-painting-and-home-improvement services
